Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to common questions

How do I join DGA?

Visit our Members page and fill out the application form. We'll review your application and get back to you within 48 hours. New members are accepted based on availability and compatibility with our league culture.

What's the membership fee?

Annual membership is $250, which covers administrative costs, trophies, and league events. Tournament entry fees are separate and typically range from $75-120 per event depending on the course.

Do I need a handicap to play?

Yes, we use USGA handicaps for all tournaments. If you don't have an official handicap, we can help you establish one through our partnership with NGCA. Beginners are welcome!

How often are tournaments held?

We typically hold 1-2 tournaments per month during golf season (March-November). Some Marquee Tournaments include: The DGA Open, The Omicron Invitational, Hacks & Wacks, & The TK Memorial!

Can I bring guests to tournaments?

Yes! Members can bring guests to most tournaments (space permitting). Guests slightly above the entry fee and are eligible for prizes. It's a great way to introduce friends to DGA.

What's the skill level range?

Our members range from beginners (30+ handicap) to advanced players (single digits). The beauty of net scoring is that everyone can compete regardless of skill level. We emphasize fun over pure competition.

What happens if I miss a tournament?

We got you covered! While we have 6 regular season events, we will use your top 4 scores of the season before seeding the DGA Championship
